Poster presentations are encouraged as they will be an important form of scientific communication at the Congress. Posters will be on display throughout the Congress and will be discussed during the breaks in the Teun Room and the foyer. At least one of the authors is requested to be near the poster during the assigned discussion timing.


Poster guidelines
Format: Portrait.
Maximum size: 90 x 110 cm.
Display boards and fixing materials will be provided.

Abstract deadline, acceptance and validation
Deadline for submission of a poster is 15th July 2010. The final decision regarding abstract acceptance will be communicated within 5 days after submission to the corresponding author. Abstracts must be submitted to both ann.schenk@biw.kuleuven.be and els.bobelyn@biw.kuleuven.be. A registered participant is permitted no more than two presentations in the Congress Programme as presenting author.

The abstract should be limited to 1 page A4 in MS Word, font type Arial, font size 11, page margins: top, bottom, left and right = 1 inch (2.54 cm).

Authors: mention each author (including corresponding author) in the order as they should appear on the abstract, mentioning first name, initials, last name and full address of each author.

Book of abstracts
Abstracts, if accepted, will be published in a book of abstracts, together with a pdf of the poster itself. The abstract itself needs to be submitted before 15th July 2010. The pdf of the poster must be sent before 10th August 2010 to both ann.schenk@biw.kuleuven.be and els.bobelyn@biw.kuleuven.be.

Fee reduction
Students with a poster presentation have a fee reduction of 20%. The student registrations are only accepted with a copy of a student card. Students’ registration fee includes all benefits as regular fee.
