Øyvind Briså is 54 years old and Company Director of Bama since 1999. He is responsible for all domestic and international sourcing and logistics. Most of his professional life he has been working with consumer goods. Prior to working for Bama, he was responsible for the production of fish and shrimps in the very north of Norway after which he became VP Procurement for Norway Seafoods/Frionor. He held various chairman positions in Norway and abroad.
Bama is 125 years old next year, and is a successful market leader in the Norwegian fruit and vegetables industry. The company is family owned for 3 generations, and also by Norges Gruppen & Ream 1000 - two leading and competing- retailers in Norway. Bama also has activities in Sweden, Holland and Poland. |
