Tom Sjulin is a consultant to the North American berry industry, currently working with both public and private agencies on the development of improved cultivars and new production systems. During his 29 year career in both university and private industry research, he has published numerous papers on the genetics, pest resistance, propagation and production of strawberries. He is the inventor or co-inventor of 25 patented strawberry cultivars, and has developed novel production systems that have increased the winter supply of strawberries in North America. |
