Wim Van Den Heuvel is a strawberry grower in Belgium. He started his career as an employee at the strawberry company of his parents. His passion for strawberries has only grown since then. When he turned 16, he already decided to grow strawberries and therefore he went to the agricultural school. When he finished school, he started working for his father for 3 years. After that, he started his own company by growing strawberries in the open field. In 2004 he made the switch to greenhouse culture. Because quality is extremely important for him, he chose to build a very modern company where technology and craftsmanship go hand in hand. Technology provides increasingly beneficial conditions, but it's the care, the knowledge and the experience that make for real good strawberries. |
