Strawberries have always proven to be of high economic value. After World War II, strawberry cultivation expanded fast. It has always been the core business of Hoogstraten®. Since 1990 the production of the Kempen area, East Flanders and a part of Northern Brabant (The Netherlands) has been united under the Hoogstraten® label.
